Description of service(s) | The ALS Society of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia is a non-profit organization consisting of dedicated volunteers across the provinces. Our goal is to have a presence in every geographic area in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia so we can fully support people living with ALS. ALS affects all who come in contact with it, including caregivers, families and our support service providers. The ALS Society of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia strives to support its clients in each of these groups by providing information, helping facilitate the creation of support groups, generating awareness, raising funds. The Society also helps clients access equipment and work within the health care system. Our Mission: To ensure every person living with ALS in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, enjoys the best quality of life available, by exceeding their expectations and contributing directly to their hope for a cure. We will achieve this by providing timely, accurate and professional service at every contact and by making annual donations to support research. |
