Description & Services
Description of service(s) La Leche League volunteers assist mothers and parents in breastfeeding, chest feeding or human milk feeding through peer-to-peer support, education, information, and encouragement and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as important in the health development of the baby and mother/parent.  
 
We offer: 
- individual support via email, text, phone, virtually or in-person (in-person support only during yellow phase of Covid-19 recovery) 
- virtual monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of the month via Google Meets 
- Prenatal breastfeeding/chest feeding classes 
- a group reference library, and; 
- up to date information concerning issues around breastfeeding.

Dates Program is Offered Monthly Meetings are held 3rd Tuesday of every month virtually via Google Meets

Areas Served Charlotte County ; Kings County ; Queens County ; St John County ; Everywhere (Services are virtual at the moment)
Eligibility Open to all pregnant and nursing parents of all ages and backgrounds. Support persons are also welcome to reach out for support or join us for a monthly meeting or prenatal class.
Languages English ; French - Available through other Leaders in province. Call for referral.
