Description of service(s) The Portage Residential Rehabilitation Program for Adolescents in Atlantic Canada 
Portage Atlantic provides an integrated program to help people who are suffering from substance abuse to seek Freedom from addiction. Based on the therapeutic community approach, the program stimulates personal development that teaches residents how to overcome their substance abuse problems take back control of their lives.

Eligibility Ages: 14 year(s) - 21 year(s) 
open to drug-dependent youth, male and female, serves French and English population for alcohol or drug abuse
Application Applicants can call the office for information. Can be self-referred, or referred by parent, teacher, doctor, family member,probation officer,social worker, etc. It is advisable that the youth be involved with an addictions counselor. A screening process is conducted prior to admission.
