| Description of service(s) | Originally operated as a therapeutic recreation centre for children with physical disabilities, the camp now offers a host of summer time activities for children and adults at any ability level. Camp Rotary is recognized as a leader in accessible outdoor camping in Canada, and boasts a fully bilingual program. KIDS' CAMPS Each summer offers new camp sessions for children and youth of different ability levels, including campers with physical, developmental, and learning disabilities. ADULT CAMPS Camp Rotary is renowned for its mature programs for adults with a physical and/or cognitive disability age 30 years and older. LEADERSHIP CAMPS We offer two-week leadership programs for those with and without disabilities. Our Leadership, Independence, Progression (LIP) Program helps participants to learn essential leadership and independence skills and to realize their potential. The Leaders- and Counsellors-In-Training (LIT and CIT) Programs offer a community-based approach to leadership, where participants will apply the skills they learn to community and camp events. |
