| Description of service(s) | Summer Day Camps Camps offered in French and English. Includes 45 min. daily swim instruction! Camp offert en Anglais et en Français. Cours de natation de 45 min chaque jour! Camp is from 9:00-4:30 Early/Late Service available 7:45-5:15 at no additional fee! Youth Leadership (Counselor in training) camp will be offered in conjunction with the Flip ‘n Dip camp. Youth will gain experience working with campers and staff in a summer camp setting. By shadowing a camp counselor CIT’s will learn the policies, procedures, safety requirements and daily running of camp. Camp Highlights: Daily swimming lessons and free swim time, Exciting field trips to popular Saint John destinations (Cherry Brook Zoo, Irving Nature Park, Rockwood Park etc.) Educational outings to cultural hotspots (New Brunswick Museum, Martello Tower, Saint John Arts Centre etc.) Specialty Camp Highlights: (For children 8-15 years) Certified coaches for individual sports camps, Learn the basics of the aquatic sports, crafts, swimming lessons, free swim and outing for the teens. Supplies for Camp: Each day of camp your child will need a lunch and several snacks, water bottle, bathing suit and towel. Please ensure that your child comes dressed for the day, (hats, indoor/outdoor clothing etc.) Additional Information: Flip ‘N Dip – Campers 6 – 12 years of age OR if the child has completed a whole year of Kindergarten they may attend camp. Aquatic and Aquatic Sports Camps – Campers must be at least 7 years of age and be comfortable swimming in deep water (swim kids 7 or equivalent is recommended) As all activities are based in the deep end. Youth Leadership – Youth must be 13 years of age before the week or weeks they plan to attend. For more information about our day camp programs, please contact us today.
