Description & Services
Description of service(s) This program promotes personal development and skill building in areas such as self-esteem, anger management, coping skills, and banking & budgeting. It also aims to educate in areas such as job skills, medical and communicable diseases, social and relationship skills, and personal care.  
 
Our Life Skills assessment is individualized to identify a participant's strengths and needs. All classes are facilitated in PowerPoint to assist all learning style to ensure success. Learning with others helps to facilitate trust, teamwork, builds self-esteem, promotes healthy relationships and enhances one's sense of independence.
Hours 4 classes daily, Monday -Friday: 
 
1) 9 am -10 am 
2) 10:30 am -11:30 am 
3) 1 pm -2 pm 
4) 2:30 pm -3 pm
Dates Program is Offered Year-round

Eligibility Ages: 19 year(s) - 64 year(s) 
 
Must live with an intellectual disability and/or dual diagnosis
Application Referral from Social Development; In-take process for eligibility

Fees Program - $33/day ; Fee assistance available ; assistance is provided by Social Development Disability Support Program.
